Infrastructure as a Service Enabler Hexagrid Heads to Europe to Discuss Cloud Trends

Next week, from Jan. 25-26, Hexagrid will cross the globe to London for Cloud Expo Europe 2012, a two-day event for organizations looking to deliver effective cloud and virtualization strategies just in time and on budget. Hexagrid will not only be exhibiting and conducting cloud demos at its booth, including a display of its Unovie unified cloud solution, nevertheless it will as well be delivering two presentations to address the needs and simplify the transition of both service providers and enterprise businesses making the move to cloud in 2012.

The first session will focus on the key differences between traditional IT business models and cloud business models so that service providers can enter the cloud market prepared for success. In the second session, Hexagrid will highlight common concerns and misconceptions of enterprise IT when evaluating cloud options as so then as common hold-ups that stop businesses from simply and efficiently transitioning to cloud.

"The two distinct presentation sessions that we have proposed address common misconceptions and challenges that service providers and enterprises face as they try to transition to cloud," Rokita said. "Through these sessions we hope the audience will gain a better understanding of why focusing on business decisions instead of innovation minutia will allow these organizations to more quickly and cost effectively transition to cloud and thereafter derive increased profitability due to the efficiencies that cloud can provide."
