
Intel Adds Splashtop Device-Bridging Tech to Sandy Bridge Boards
Intel will be bundling Splashtop's cross-device innovation onto its Sandy Bridge motherboards straightway year to enable consumers to create "personal cloud" bridges between PCs, mobile devices, and TVS, Splashtop said this week.
Splashtop's products are used by more than 5 million users worldwide to bridge their mobile devices to their PCs and Macs, according to the company. Just in case to Intel, the company's partners include Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Dell, Acer, Sony, and Asus. Splashtop's top-selling apps in Apple's App Store, Google's Android Marketplace, and elsewhere include Splashtop Remote Desktopthe company's biggest hit with smartphone users who want to access their PCs and Macs from across the cloudXDisplay, Whiteboard, CamCam, and FileHound.
