Intel Keynoting at Cloud Slam 2012 Cloud Computing Conference and Expo
Jason Waxman, GM, Cloud Infrastructure Group, will deliver a headline keynote address focused on Intel's vision of federated, automated, and client aware cloud environments and the programs that Intel is driving with the industry to make it easier for enterprises and service providers to build, deploy, and enhance cloud environments to add value to their businesses.
"Today, cloud computing is driven by more users, more devices, more storage, and more traffic - all of which requires a solid infrastructure to manage the growth," said Jason Waxman. "Intel's Cloud 2015 Vision includes the following characteristics: federated, to share data securely across public and private cloud environments; automated, so that IT can focus more on research; and client aware, to optimize servicesbased on device capabilities. Moving forward, there must be open industry standards to enable interoperability and allow for industry technology."
Cloud Slam'12, produced by Cloudcor, is one of the world's largest independent cloud computing conferences. The conference, now in its fourth year, encompasses a tried and tested hybrid format event, which last year attracted a global audience in excess of 10,000 senior business decision makers.
