Inteliquent Turns Up Commercial HD Voice Interconnect Solution

Inteliquent, a leading provider of global interconnection and interoperability solutions, announces the implementation of its commercial HD Voice Interconnect solution for Broadvox. Inteliquent's HD Voice service is a High Definition wideband voice interconnection solution for the competitive carrier market. Inteliquent solves the problem of non-interconnected 'islands of HD' by providing HD interconnection to end points on other service provider networks interconnected with Inteliquent, and adds incremental value to carriers offering HD voice services to their end clients. The service has been successfully interconnected with Broadvox, a leading VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and Unified Communications solutions provider.

Inteliquent's HD Voice Interconnect enables service providers to efficiently route HD Voice calls to other service provider networks and to hosted voice application providers. During Broadvox has HD voice capabilities today, by using Inteliquent as an intermediary to other HD voice capable, Broadvox has notably increased the number of endpoints that their clients can reach; resulting in a higher quality HD voice calling capability. Should the contingency arise, calls made by clients of other service providers interconnected with Inteliquent can now be completed to Broadvox's clients with the same high quality HD service.
