JT Selects DIGITALK Cloud for Voice Termination Services based on VoIP Peering Application
Telecommunications provider JT announced last week that it will be moving its international wholesale voice termination services to DIGITALK Cloud. Based on DIGITALK’s Session Border Controller VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Peering application, DIGITALK Cloud will bring JT’s termination services up to date with a secure and ubiquitous cloud approach.
Also making use of sophisticated VoIP Peering Manager technologies, the Cloud will allow providers to interconnect, create routing plans and offer termination rates, monitor volumes, uploads and performance via cloud solutions. Additionally, being the cloud-based platform that it is, DIGITALK Cloud will enable JT to handle strenuous traffic spikes and similar drawbacks with ease.
Chief executive at DIGITALK, Justin Norris, explained how an ever-growing proportion of the telecoms industry is taking interest in cloud-based solutions, stating, "We see cloud services as a key trend in the telecoms industry, and the adoption of DIGITALK Cloud by JT illustrates that this approach works then for network operators offering wholesale termination services."
Through offering enhanced routing capabilities and supporting an extended range of interconnection options for carriers, the company hopes to expand its presence. JT’s main areas of focus are both prepaid and postpaid billing communications services across the US, UK and Australia.
