Livescribe Picks SVP from Apple to define Product Strategy

Livescribe Inc. picked Brett Halle as its new Senior Vice President Engineering betting that a former senior director of core technologies at Apple can lead Livescribe's product planning,  strategy, development, management and integration required to take the leader in digital writing solutions to a new level.   In Mr. Halle, Livescribe is getting a so then-regarded executive with 21 years of managerial and technical experience at Apple.  According to his Livescribe Profile, in his role as "Apple's senior director of networking and kernel technologies", he was "responsible  for  the direction, creation, and implementation of the common operating system technologies shared across all Apple products and platforms, including the Apple IPAD, IPHONE and IPOD". Now, it will be Mr. Halle's turn to take the company, grow the brand and make it a must-have tool for students, business professionals, writers, journalists and more who are eager for a low cost mobile computing platform solution.
