Localphone.com Enables WiFi Calls On New Android App

Award winning international call provider, Localphone, has launched a new version of their Android app featuring a WiFi calling mode.Sheffield, United Kingdom May 01, 2012

When the app is first launched it will be in WiFi calls mode – calls will be made using the users Internet connection. The app will use WiFi when available and 3G when the user is out of range. All the user will pay to call are Localphone’s low rates - there are no local charges using this calling mode.

Users can tap the call mode button to switch to LOCAL mode and calls will be made using a local number, which connects to their international contact. Users will pay Localphone’s low rates plus their mobile provider’s local rates. These calls are more often than not included in their free minutes. Download the Localphone Android app.

Users can call abroad using a local number or their WiFi/3G connection. Just tap the calling mode button to switch between the two.

The Localphone Android app is available to users in over 40 countries where Localphone has access numbers.
