LogMeIn's join.me launches VoIP support
LogMeIn is inviting users to trial the new VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) beta features that have been added to its screen sharing and remote collaboration service, join.me.
VoIP innovation allows users to dial into the join.me audio conference line from their computers and talk to anyone in the world, hands-free, for free.
The conference line supports users dialing in via VoIP
The conference line supports users dialing in via VoIP, as so then as those joining via telephone. No matter how users join the conference - from a phone, mobile app or computer - they’ll be able to hear everyone on the conference, loud and clear.
Users can try join.me’s beta VoIP features by going to beta.join.me and either sharing their screen or joining an existing session. join.me Pro subscribers can as well sign in to use their personal URL and background as usual. Participants should join the session from beta.join.me, so they can try VoIP too.
