Microsoft VP Cindy Bates, trio of Portland entrepreneurs share perspectives on small business cloud computing
The trio of siblings learned in September that Imagination Yoga was one of five businesses throughout the U.S. to win the grand prize in the. Each company received $50,000, a visit from a Microsoft executive and a free year of Microsoft 365, its cloud computing solution for small businesses.
The Internet
It's one thing to place your own confidential data on the Internet, however what gives a company the right places others data in a position which can be compromised without their explicit understanding and agreement to such storage?
But in effect... major players are getting hacked day in day out. Why would anyone what to put their financial data out there? Get a few thousand of these "small businesses" into one cloud location and it will make a nice juicy target for the pros.
I have had this lady call and ask to talk with me, I declined. Cloud computing has too many problems. Lose your internet connection and everyone can sit around sucking their thumb. How do you know MS isn't data mining your info? Want to use cloud and not use MS, use Google, with that you can use Linux.
