Mitel Unveils AnyWare IaaS Service that Provides Cloud-Based Unified Communications

The AnyWare Infrastructure-as-a-Service was recently unveiled by Mitel at Interop 2012. Mitel is a provider of Unified Communications and Collaboration software solutions. With their new solution, they seek to deploy Unified Communications-as-a-Service in a new way. The AnyWare IaaS has as well been designed to expand Mitel's Freedom Architecture, so that IT organizations can host Mitel’s virtualized UCC software in a virtual private datacenter provided by Mitel NetSolutions, the company's service provider division.

With the new AnyWare IaaS, IT organizations can realize virtualized voice, unified communications and collaboration in an affordable manner and they can choose between a private or hybrid cloud model. Not only does this streamline operations; it as well decreases infrastructure costs. These features will help IT departments to offload in-house resources and concentrate their energies on other pertinent issues, like strategizing and delivering world-class collaboration and communication.

Another advantage of AnyWare IaaS is that it is VMware Ready, making it upside down compatible. It is augmented for Mitel's purpose-built UCC applications and expedites integrated UCaaS deployments that decrease lifecycle support costs linked with maintaining Enterprise communications infrastructure.
