Panasonic boosts PBX capacity with firmware upgrade

New firmware for Panasonic KX-NCP500 and TDE200/600 IP PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange) systems brings increased capacity and new features. And it's free, so what's not to like?

The upgrade

With the upgrade, PT and DECT users can put out a call automatically to every phone in a desired group. Panasonic officials said this function is particularly useful for users in the hospitality and medical fields in emergency situations.

Other improvements to the TDE200/600 include increasing the queue length from 30 to 100 during allowing callers to leave a message instead of waiting in the queue.
