Patton Webinar Targets Channel Partners for Carrier-grade VoIP Gateways

As Patton is venturing into the world of carrier core, edge, and peer network infrastructure, as so then as large enterprises and call centers, its team has been a busy one. With the recent launch of the SmartNode 10200 VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) media gateway series for large enterprise call centers and carriers, the company enjoyed a so then-timed announcement at ITEXPO East 2012 in Miami before this month.

Now, having added the high-capacity solution to expand its portfolio beyond its former 2-to-120 call range, Patton is conducting an important webinar on February 28 at 9 a.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET on the details of the new series. The new VoIP SmartMedia Gateways offer 512 to 2,048 voice channels with options for 16 to 64 T1/E1, 1 to 3 DS3, or 1 STM-1 in a 2U chassis. The webinar will explore how to launch the new series for interested parties.

Burt Patton, executive vice president for the company, recently noted, "The global network is on the whole converging. Though legacy equipment is aging, it provides reliable service. Traditional PSTNs everything considered generate earnings and profits. Carriers need classic TDM and advanced IP networks to interconnect and interoperate, and our SmartNode 10200 is the industry’s most reliable—and cost-effective—solution."

A data sheet is as well available for those who want to check out more about the series in a visual sense. The Media Gateway is a key component for applications at the Carrier operational level, and the webinar will explore more about how businesses can take advantage of the new features and improvements made to Patton’s renowned solutions.

The company has already been acclaimed for its solutions, having recently won the INTERNET TELEPHONY 2011 Product of the Year award, maintaining a seven-year winning streak for the VoIP-equipment brand.
