Remembering 9/11

…for whatever reason, I had closed the windows earlier I left to walk uptown that day, so dust was minimal. I loaded them…

He led me to Andy Levi and Ace, which lead me to Red Eye and Greg Gutfeld. You guys should be running the major networks instead of the putzes currently in charge, who only care what their respective political parties want of them.

My throat tightens whenever I think about it. I can only imagine the horror of being on the phone with your wife, knowing she’s about to be killed. I know a lot of people lost loved ones that day, nevertheless for some reason the death of Barbara Olson became symbolic to me of how al-Qaeda didn’t just murder people, yet destroyed families. When the news came that Bin Laden had been killed in Pakistan, I remember thinking “this is for them, more than anybody.”

Our firm was in a high rise in Dallas. I remember worrying that this could be a multi-regional attack and looked sheepishly out the windows for any planes.I remember feeling hopeless. Sad. Angered. This can not happen here, in America.

Then I remembered my brother John was an ETM in Queens and I am sure he will be there. I called him and my sisters in Queens. No phone service…….no way to contact them…
