Augme Technologies this week announced the acquisition of key mobile innovation patents. AUGT acquired a family of five issued U.S. patents, which cover Voice over Internet Protocol and other important mobility inventions.

Nathaniel Bradley, Chief Research Officer at Augme Technologies, said that the patent acquisition supports AUGTs growth strategy, which includes the monetization of the company's Hipcricket operating business and intellectual property portfolio.
