Small business show set for Thursday

A trade show of services, products and resources for small businesses, The Small Business Show: SOHO Rochester 2012, is scheduled for Thursday at the Riverside Convention Center.

The event as well includes a schedule of workshops on subjects just as retirement plans, a buy-local program, and use of cloud computing techniques.

The event will give small businesses in the Finger Lakes region opportunities to meet with bankers from different lending institutions in a speed-dating-like environment. At a similar event in December, participants met with as many as 10 lenders in two hours.
