
Telstra investigates growth areas
TELSTRA is investigating new growth areas opening up because of the national broadband network just as cloud computing, media asset management and expansion across Asia.
"Now we are looking at new growth areas that will come along because of the NBN, things like cloud computing, things like how we manage our media assets, how we look at growth across Asia, how we look at new over-the-top initiatives,'' he told ABC's Inside Business on Sunday.
He said it was important Telstra protect its content copyright by taking Optus to court for showing AFL and NRL matches on its mobile phones.
