Torian describes company growth

When I moved to Visalia, I was working at Online Computing, which was on Mooney Boulevard and sold and fixed computers. I had different views on how to help people with computers, so I opened my own business. It was just for me for awhile, until further notice the first five years. Now, I have three full-time techs, a web designer and an office manager.

I see another transition coming with people using more and more Internet services, which is at times referred to as cloud computing. The growth in mobile devices is as well changing the way people work.

A: Working with businesses, I see a need for them to develop Internet strategy and part of in other words to see what marketing can do for them. Another part of in other words to see what parts of their business they want to move to cloud. An example: Some medical customers are using an online medical management program instead of putting it on their server.

We provide online back-ups, which is made possible by better Internet connections. We do more of our network support remotely now.

Web presence so they can be found online

It's become more important for small businesses to have a web presence so they can be found online. A major trend is for people to search for services on their phones, which means they search and Ôªøbusinesses nearby will show up.

And the other problem I see, especially with small businesses, they think they can do it all themselves and limit their businesses because they don't know what's possible.
