Verizon Wireless today announced that it will expand the nation's largest 4G Long Term Evolution network in several towns in the Kansas City area in the coming weeks. The expanded 4G LTE network will enable clients in more of the Kansas City area to use their wireless devices to surf the Web, stream music and video, take advantage of thousands of applications, and stay in touch with family and friends, all with speeds up to 10 times faster than earlier.

The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution, latest standard in the mobile network technology) network is currently available throughout the Kansas City area. With the planned network expansion, residents in the following cities and towns will have access to the nation's fastest 4G network:
