Vice President of the European Commission Speaks About Cloud Computing Through ISL Groop Web Conference
EuroCloud organizations from UK, Italy, Germany, Austria and 10 other European countries all organized local EuroCloud venues and joined the ISL Groop web conference to watch and hear the speeches of the eminent guests, experts in the cloud computing area.
Neelie Kroes, the European Commissioner for Digital Agenda, emphasized the importance of cloud computing and the challenges that the EU strategy in this area is trying to solve. Her speech can be seen in a video recorded by ISL Groop, which allows session recording, so the whole EuroCloud web conference was registered and archived.
In December 2011 ISL Online, wishing to promote closer integration with EuroCloud members, offered its cloud-based communication tools at no cost to all EuroCloud organisations and their member companies. Interested companies can all in all sign up for an ISL Online account and start using web conferencing, remote desktop support, remote access and live chat software.
Besides, ISL Online is proposing collaboration to cloud providers and enablers within EuroCloud. ISL Online is willing to provide complete integration of its communication tools into existing cloud services completely free of charge. In doing so independent software vendors can add a remote support tool or a live chat to their existing service and increase the market appeal of their basic service.
