
Voiceserve Unveils SIP-based IP PBX Service via CalltoPBX.com
Voiceserve, a then-generation Internet telephony software and service provider, has launched a session initiation protocol based IP-PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange) service for consumers and small businesses through CalltoPBX.com.
"CalltoPBX.com leverages Voiceserve’s comprehensive VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) software package and will furthermore support our long-term growth strategy," said Michael Bibelman, CEO at Voiceserve, adding that CalltoPBX.com brings the benefits of Internet telephony to individual users and small businesses, enabling account holders to initiate communication sessions between each other for free, wherever and whenever.
Account is created
"Once an account is created, users can personalize greetings, receive voicemail, send voicemails to recipient's email, put calls on hold during answering another call and play music for the call on hold, and use auto-attendant to automatically forward calls or transfer calls to an extensions," Bilbelman said.
Voiceserve's VoIP service is as a SIP-based system. Company officials said that it can as well be downloaded to PCs, cameras, iPhones, iPads, Android and Blackberry phones and other mobile phones using Microsoft Windows operating system. Plus, it offers IP security.
The service
With the service, subscribers can establish a virtual telephone system and communicate free via the Web, including video conferencing in up to five extensions at a time, according to company officials.
The new service provides subscribers access to low-cost, VoIP communications. Company officials said that it comes with all the services associated with landlines and cellular phones -- text messaging, faxing, music on hold, dial by name from contacts, voicemail delivery via email and call queuing.
Voiceserve’s IP-PBX system offers easier integration with business applications. Company officials said that the system can be integrated with CRM software to automatically bring up the customer profile of the caller. As well, it offers the option of economical call forwarding to anywhere in the world using SIP protocols.
