Edimax launches 150Mpbs ADSL router in India

BANGALORE, INDIA: Telecom networking equipment maker Edimax Innovation launched its new AR-7284WnA wireless ADSL modem router in India.

The router, which features MIMO research, provides data transmission rates up to 150Mbps and the company claims that it provides better signal coverage than any standard 802.11g/b router. As well Read: Beetel launches 3G Wi-Fi pocket router

This Edimax router is built with virtual server and DMZ functionality for applications that require open ports, just as online games, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phones, and web servers.

It is compatible with ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ Internet services. It can allow for network speeds of up to 24Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream.
