FairPoint Promotes Rose Hauser to Executive Vice President

Rose Hauser, chief information officer for FairPoint Communications, has been promoted to executive vice president, CEO Paul Sunu announced.

Hauser, who joined FairPoint last year, is responsible for defining and executing information research initiatives across the company to meet the needs of the business including operations, software development and delivery and strategy for the information innovation and internal business solutions departments.

She is an information innovation and telecommunications professional with more than 20 years of experience; and before served as senior vice president and chief information officer for Hawaiian Telecom. Hauser has as well held executive positions at Freddie Mac, MCI, XO Communications and Bell Atlantic. She began her career at Wang Laboratories, Inc.
