
Huawei Telecommunications Showcases its Smart Grid Solutions
With an aim to create value for the power sector, Huawei Telecommunications, a leading global information and communications innovation solutions provider has showcased its various solutions being offered pursuant to this agreement the Smart Grid segment. The company is participating at the ongoing "World Smart Grid" conference happening in Mumbai from 13th to 16th September, 2011.
The conference
Speaking at the conference, Mr Navodit Kumar Garg, Dy. Director Enterprise Solutions, Huawei Telecommunications said that better adoption of smart grid solutions will pave an ideal way towards a better connected world.
Talking about the Smart Grid solutions that Huawei offers to the power sector, Mr Garg said that Huawei has a clear focus towards handling the power challenges in terms of providing its expertise to enable Smart Grid solutions. "In accordance with the office automation segment, we are providing solutions like VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and enterprise collaboration platform. We are as well providing our tele-presence solutions that are directed towards reducing the cost of running an enterprise especially across different regions. We have solutions that can provide real-time surveillance of power plants," he added.
