Stage 2 Networks Names Tom Faherty as Chief Technology Officer

Stage 2 Networks, a cloud communications leader in the New York metropolitan area with a portfolio of hosted voice and data services, today announced the appointment of Tom Faherty as Chief Research Officer.

Mr. Faherty will be responsible for managing product development, cultivating strategic relationships with key research partners, engineering the company's core network, systems and carrier infrastructure as then as guiding the on-going development of Stage 2's operational support systems and providing overall technical leadership for the company.

Prior to joining Stage 2 Networks, Mr. Faherty has held executive operations and engineering positions at CTI, Eureka Networks which was bought by Broadview, SMN which was bought by France Telecom, and Globix which was bought by NEON Broadband. Mr. Faherty is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Internet Society and Associate Member of the US Internet Industry Association.
